Chalkida
Only 1 1/4 hour away from the Villa Nafsika is Chalkida, the capital of the island of Evia – a place to relax and discover. Here the island is connected to the mainland by a bridge. Visit the city for a variety of shopping, dining and cafes. However, Chalkida is not only a place of relaxation, but also of discovery, blessed with a history that goes back more than 3000 years.
Eretria
Eretria is located 21 kilometers southeast of Chalkis. It is a city with a rich history and one of the most touristic areas of Evia Island. Archaeological finds such as the ancient theater and Roman baths can be found here. Eretria has beautiful boulevards with numerous terraces, kafenions, ouzeries, taverns, restaurants and bars. The beaches in the area are very beautiful and well maintained.
Kymi
Kymi is one of the most popular cities on Evia Island. It consists of two parts, one part is on a hill 250 meters high. The other part is four kilometers along the sea, here is the port with many restaurants and cafes. From the hill you have a fantastic view of the sea and the port of Kymi. The center is busy with all kinds of shops and terraces around the main church. It is also interesting to visit the Kymi Ethnological Museum.
Aliveri
Aliveri is a modern small town built amphitheatrically on hills. It is picturesque and touristy, full of cafes and taverns. However if one wants to swim, next to the port there is a beautiful sandy beach.
Agii Apostoli
A typical Greek village with a small fishing port and beach where you can buy groceries and go to restaurants, cafes, and bars – only a few minutes drive from the Villa Nafsika.
Klimaki Beach
The Villa Nafsika is located 100 meters away from a beautiful sand-beach. In the season, drinks are sold from the neighboring hotel.
